Each piece of jewelry is hand-made using original techniques unique to our artisan workshop in Africa.   These disc stud paper earrings are composed of 50+ sheets of recycled magazine paper layered with glue using a brush.  Then, the paper is laid out to dry using the warm African sun.  Once dry, it is cut into the shape of the earring ordered.  The final steps include sanding the edges and finishing with a light varnish.  Voila!  You now have certified fair trade, sustainable, and unique jewelry.  Due to the hand-crafted process, there might be slight variations in size and color tones.
